Craig Koot, Pittsburgh Native and Char Valley Grad, Joins Front Office
WASHINGTON, Pa. (March 11) – The Washington Wild Things have added to their front office with the addition of Craig Koot, a new account executive. Craig interned with the organization in the ticketing department in 2024 before serving in a part-time role in 2025. He began his work with the sales staff Wednesday, March 11, as the team looks to continue to provide affordable, family-friendly entertainment and experiences for local fans, families and the community as a whole.
Koot joins the Wild Things in a full-time role after his 2024 internship and 2025 part-time work. He was a Ticketing Intern in 2024 before helping out here and there in the box office during the 2025 season. A 2020 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School and 2024 graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Koot makes his way into the front office holding a degree in Recreation and Sport Management. He has worked for the Steelers and Acrisure Stadium as a Stadium Event Assistant, for Rally House and as an ambassador for the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (2023).
Craig will manage ticket accounts including season tickets, groups, community nights, theme nights and other premium and individual ticket sales, as well as assist the sales staff in operations around EQT Park.
“I’m excited to officially welcome Craig to our team,” said ticket sales manager, Elise Dume. “He first started with me as an intern during my first year here and consistently went above and beyond in his work. I’m confident he will be a valuable asset to the team.”
That brings the front office back to 12 employees after the recent departure of a different account executive.
