John DePellegrini joined the Wild Things as Business Operations Assistant in August of 2025 but, at the time of coming on full-time, was no stranger to the organization. DePellegrini was an intern with the Street Team in 2024 in Marketing and Promotions. He was working with the team in a hybrid capacity in 2025 before joinin the office staff.
Johnny attended Franklin Regional High School, where he was a part of the track and field team and musical performances. He also grew up playing deck hockey. After graduation in 2021 from Franklin Regional, he matriculated to Robert Morris University, where he was a Marketing major with a minor in Sport Management and certificates in sales and entrepenurship. He was president of Sigma Tau Gamma in his time at RMU as well. He interned with the Colonials athletic department while in school in a variety of roles.
Johnny has worked for Chipotle since 2019 and is now a service leader with the company. Outside of the Wild Things, Johnny likes to golf, play video games, spend time with family friends and is a fan of the Pittsburgh sports teams. He has a cat named Jasper. His favorite TV shows include The Office, Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He's also a big Star Wars fan and loves the Hamilton musical.
