Wild Things Promote Bozzuto

Washington, PA – The Washington Wild Things have promoted Bob Bozzuto to the position of administrative vice president, reporting directly to the managing partner of the organization, Francine W. Williams.

"Bob has been with the Wild Things in several key roles throughout the years," said Williams.  "With the addition of his tenure as field manager for the 2014 and 2015 teams and his experience as the Athletic Director for North Allegheny, Bob is the best possible adviser to assist us as we move our sports and entertainment venue into the future."

During his tenure Bozzuto helped guide the club during their most successful seasons, including multiple postseason berths, a club-record 63 wins in 2005 and a trip to the Frontier League Championship Series in 2007.  In 2014 he led the team back to the playoffs.

Bozzuto is the Director of Athletics for North Allegheny Schools, Western Pennsylvania's largest and the most successful athletics program in Pennsylvania. Historically, North Allegheny has won more state championships than any other school in the Commonwealth. In 2014-15, North Allegheny Athletics was ranked number one in Pennsylvania and number four nationally by Niche, a website dedicated to gathering data on school systems and colleges throughout the United States.

The Wild Things will open their 15th season of Frontier League Baseball on the road.  The home opener is slated for Friday, May 20th when Washington will host the Lake Erie Crushers.  Season and group ticket packages are available at the CONSOL Energy Park Box Office.
