Wild Things Fall to Thunderbolts

WASHINGTON, PA - The Washington Wild Things (1-1) continued their opening series against the Windy City Thunderbolts (1-1) in a nine inning competition as part of a three game series. The Wild Things fell to the Thunderbolts 5-2 in the outing.

LHP Trevor Belicek (0-1) recorded the loss for Washington. During his 5.0 innings on the mound, Belicek struck out two batters. RHP Joe Ravert, LHP Matt Sabel and RHP Davis Adkins each appeared on the mound - allowing no hits in their innings.

During the outing, Rashad Brown and Trevin Sonnier each stole one base. Mike Hill produced a sacrifice fly, driving home Rashad Brown. The team also produced a double play in the first inning.
