Scott Carcaise Joins the Washington Wild Things

The Washington Wild Things added INF Scott Carcaise to the 2016 roster.  Carcaise played for the Frontier Greys in 2015. 

The New Jersey native played in 94 games with the Greys last season.  He notched 86 hits with 57 RBIs and 23 doubles. 

Carcaise was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 14th round of the 2013 MLB Draft.  He played college ball at the Florida Institute of Technology.

Before playing in the Frontier League, Carcaise spent two seasons with the Miami affiliate Batavia Muckdogs of the New York Penn League.  In 2013, he recorded 27 hits in 35 games with the Muckdogs.
