Chris Carter - Hitting Coach
Chris Carter returns to the Wild Things after playing for the team in 2005 and 2006 and acting as a player-coach in 2006. Carter batted .286 with 13 doubles, eight triples, 12 home runs, 73 RBI, and 14 stolen bases in 2005 with the Wild Things. He returned in 2006 and batted .314 with nine doubles, six triples, eight home runs, and 48 RBI. Carter was a Frontier League All-Star in 2003 with Kalamazoo and 2006 with the Wild Things. He led the Frontier League in hitting in 2003 with a .364 batting average and finished seventh in batting in 2006. He is tied for second in triples (with Mike Arbinger) 21, 12th in hits (364), 13th in at-bats (1,144), 14th base on balls (155), 15th total bases (542), 16th in runs scored (198), and he ranks 19th in the Frontier League for games played (301).
